There are many organizations offering the chance to volunteer in Peru. I have listed a few of my recommendations below. If you find none you like, keep searching! There are many more organizations out there.

i-to-i International Projects - Provides a variety of volunteer work experiences including teaching English as a foreign language, community development, conservation, construction, and free TEFL training. i-to-i is one of the largest volunteer service organizations and their service is top quality, but they are expensive.

Cross-Cultural Solutions - An international volunteer abroad program, with volunteer opportunities in Peru and many other countries.

Rainforest Research - Looking for volunteers to help with conservation and research projects at a remote research station in the Amazon basin, South East Peru. Volunteers can choose to take part in a range of projects depending upon their background, interests and experience. Photos, links, research and volunteer placement information.

Teaching English in Peru - Offers people the chance to teach English in Peru with the aim of using native English speakers to assist Peruvian students and teachers.

Earthwatch Institute - An international non-profit organization supporting scientific field research and offering members of the public the opportunity to work with distinguished field scientists.

ProWorld - Offers profound 2-26 week cultural, service, and academic experiences in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Peruvian Amazon, and the Caribbean coast of Belize.

Foundation for Sustainable Development - Offering several different service projects, a trip to the cloud forest in northern Nicaragua, and a trip to the beach on the Pacific ocean.
